Hi,
Our first book is actually called "The Lightning Thief" By Rick Riodian. Ah well... Now we are reading Because of Winn Dixie in book club. But in Teen Adviziory, or how ever you spell it, we are planning on getting a grant for a Play Station 2. How exciting plenty of great games i'm expencting too. Thats all for now.

Thanks Jenn for the correction...I guess you are getting to know me well...what I am thinking and what I am saying/writing don't always come out quite right! Nice to have you on board with our blog. Let me know when you are ready to do a book review or whatever else you'd lie to see on the group's blog! Now I will correct you and say a PS3 and that's "IF" we can find the funding! Janis
Janis,
Thanks for correcting me too. And your right it is IF we get the funding...lets stay perfectly possitive and just say we will, I despise "What if.."'s. BTW My mom had the baby and its a girl. Maia Eve Beecher. Born 2-9-08, just to tell you if I don't see you first. Got to go help with Maia! Jenn Huntress
P.S. I want a nick name! How about Harry Potter Whis? You have Library lady you know. See ya!
Fantastic news about your baby sister! I hope everyone is happy and healthy. My first granddaughter was born in November and I was there for her birth...very exciting!
Yes I think a nickname would be a great idea. I actually think it would be wise...it makes you a bit more anonymous.
What are you reading now? I started THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER last night. Its written in letter form. I am not far enough into it to know for sure but I like it thus far. I am waiting for Ashleigh to pick the next read for book club!
I love your attitude about the grant. In writing grants that is one of the important parts....to write it as though it"will" happen. I will submit the grant by the end of the month.
