ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
The next monthly meeting of the Young Adult Advisory Board will be on Wednesday, February 13th at 3 pm! Join us as we talk about what we want OUR library to be. We also need to think about changing the time for our meetings to 3:30 pm so that everyone can get here before it starts. Other conversation will include: getting a PS3, what we can do for our community, and other program ideas. We love to play "Apples to Apples" so come join the fun! Janis

***Wednesday, February 6th at 3pm- The YA Book Group meets to discuss "Because of Winn Dixie" by Kate DiCamillo. Come join the fun as we discuss the great characters in this book and eat good snacks!
Our book group is for young adults in grade 6 and up! This book is considered appropriate for ages 9-12 but we are reading it because there are great topics for conversation for the tweens and teen and....well, for everyone. Its a 2001 Newbery Honor book! Go to the author webiste for information on this book or for othe possible reads at http://www.katedicamillo.com/ Kate DiCamillo also has suggestions for writing and a great journal at her site. If you haven't read "Because of Winn Dixie" check it out at the library!
Wednesday, February 20th, at 3 pm- Its an afternoon of "TEEN SCENES". The Conway Public Library will show the movie "Because of Winn Dixie" in the Ham Community Room downstairs. Join us for the movie and popcorn!
